Professional Summer Course for Educators

Summer is not merely a time for rest and relaxation, but also a valuable opportunity for self-improvement and continuous professional growth.

Between June 16 and 25, 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Dr. Hanna Karpenko, successfully completed a Conversational English course held in Kyiv, delivered in collaboration with native-speaking instructors from the United States.

The course was designed to accommodate participants across a range of proficiency levels. Dr. Karpenko enrolled in a specialized track tailored to the professional needs of Ukrainian educators, with a particular focus on enhancing pedagogical competencies in the context of teaching English as a foreign language.

Conducted in an interactive, small-group format, the course emphasized the development of communicative fluency, the enrichment of active vocabulary, and the refinement of teaching expertise aligned with contemporary, learner-centered methodologies.

Engagement in such initiatives not only fosters professional excellence, but also encourages the integration of innovative and effective instructional strategies into the educational process.
